" Are you on Coumadin?

I always had clotty periods and it must be tied to this condition. I still see this sometimes on Coumadin. Not that large though..

I asked my doctor once if "normal" women have period that clot and she said yes. Then I looked in some book and it said clotting is not normally seen in menstrual blood. It is sometimes hard to find the right answer. I know your doctor is difficult but see what she says anyway and then find a new one!!!

" I dont think you need to worry. I dont bleed much but I drop clots mostly. I have always had this happen. I think that you would need to worry more if your periods were extrememly heavy. I think the clots are normal. You can always call the dr. just to make sure though. "
