I think that is normal unless they are very large. Call your doctor if that is the case...

Sometimes they are large. I am considering large bigger than a quarter i dont know. my doc is a b---- so I dont think I could get an answer from her. I was just wondering with this condition and all should I be worried. Thank you Lots of Love Kristin

Are you on Coumadin?
I always had clotty periods and it must be tied to this condition. I still see this sometimes on Coumadin. Not that large though.. I asked my doctor once if "normal" women have period that clot and she said yes. Then I looked in some book and it said clotting is not normally seen in menstrual blood. It is sometimes hard to find the right answer. I know your doctor is difficult but see what she says anyway and then find a new one!!! Pam

I dont think you need to worry. I dont bleed much but I drop clots mostly. I have always had this happen. I think that you would need to worry more if your periods were extrememly heavy. I think the clots are normal. You can always call the dr. just to make sure though.
