Swine flu is widespread in my community. I am okay so far. Five children in my son's preschool class have it. I am not sure how I would handle it with Lupus Anticoagulant. I would take Tamiflu if I got it.
It would reassure me if I met someone with Lupus Anticoagulant or APS who had it and they were fine. Pam Posted on 10/06/09, 11:10 am |

Hi, Fortunately, I have not had the swine flu, and I do hope to avoid it. I work in public schools (as a school social worker) and we don't yet have a documented case. I, too, worry about getting sick, but I seem to actually have an "overactive" immune system... when I do get a cold, it is done within a day or two.
I imagine (and this is not gospel) that if you are not on immunosuppressants (sp?) then you should be able to fight off any flu as well as anyone else. What do you think? marla
