Just some observations I have made. Something to chat about.
My angina mostly hits my left fingers or tips.
For, me exercising also seems to help me and make my angina go away or lessen it. When I exercise and get in really good shape - it completely go's away.
I am left handed
Coffee takes away Angina pain for me sometimes.
I have had Angina my whole life even when I was a boy, but its severity never limited me when I was little.

That's interesting... I'm in my 60's now, I can remember when I was in my 20's and if I went jogging I'd have a little tightness in my chest and just figured that it was from being out of shape and maybe a little asthma, but not enough to talk to the doctor.
I received 3 stents at the end of April and now I can do any stinking thing I want and I NEVER get that feeling. I go bicycle riding, push myself to the point that my legs feel like rubber, but my chest is fine and although my respiration rate goes up WHILE I'm exercising, it drops in under 2 minutes.
Something has been going on for a LONG time and since this is the only thing that's been repaired, I have to blame it on the heart plumbing. "

" how do you know if it's severe angina attack or an heart attack. I do have angina and anxiety and have severe chest pains at times, usually at night time when I'm alone. It's soooo scary, I also have acid reflux. Please give me some advice, I just can't run to the hospital for every pain I have in my chest "

" I'll have to agree with Scout on this one... I've had a tight feeling in my chest after exercise for as long as I can remember... even when I was a boy. Not necessarily pain, but then I never had actual pain even when it reached it's peak. I always thought it was just a mild case of asthma.
When it finally reached the point where it felt like someone was sitting on me and squeezing, II finally went in the Dr and he ran a couple tests then sent me straight to the OR.
AFTER 3 stents I found that I no longer have ANY kind of tightness no matter HOW hard I push myself, and trust me, I've tried to find my limits. My legs feel like they're about to fall off and I still have no chest pain, tightness or discomfort.
If Scout claims that he's had angina when he was younger, nobody has the right to claim otherwise. "
