My girlfriend is famous for this. We have three dogs and she always talks to them like babies. I got so angry i shake. Is there something wrong with me? O yes i am bi-polar. I talk to her about it but it doesnt help. I think she does it so i leave the room or maybe just to see how mad i get.
Any ideas? Thoughts? Advice? Iam open to anything here. Thanks for everyones time. Steven

" I do not think it is wrong, if you do not like something, then you don't like it lol. I think it is rather annoying at times. My mom does it to babies and she use to do it to my dog also. I wonder where the "talk" originated from.
Its annoying me thinking about it! "

" Personally I think it is extreme but then maybe you have a phobia of baby talk? Just a guess :) "

" I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU MEAN! Oh my God, I thought I was the only one like this. My husband used to do a baby talk voice(high pitched and annoying, drags out words) and it makes my freaking skin CRAWL. My blood boils and I grind my teeth and want to rip my hair out... etc. It angers me SO much. I am like that about other things too that he does such as a phrase that he repeats over and over such as "you love it" as a smarta$$ remark when something goes wrong. Like when someone pulls out in front of us in traffic he'll go "Do you love it? I love it." I want to scream. and that baby talk voice has stopped... I seriously think our marriage would have ended in divorce if he had not stopped because of the rage it sent me into, but he did thank God. You are not alone. I don't have a cure, other than to tell her to STOP or you will end up going nuts, literally! She shouldn't want to or keep doing something that pisses you off so badly. Tell her to do it when your not around!
