I had a very bad headache yesterday and went into my Dr. office and he called an ambulance for me and gave me a shot of toradol, I was transported to the hospital.
They gave me a CTA, thats with dye and found a start of another aneurysm behind my right ear next to my carrot-id artery, they say it is very small, but I'm not taking any chances, I'm going to the U of Mi where Dr. Thompson saved my life with my first brain aneurysm.

Has anyone had anything like this happen before? Please let me know, and explain what you went through.... Please

Thank You
Sandra

" So sorry to hear this, sandralee; I didn't realize you can get more than one aneurysm. Gosh, if it were me, I wouldn't know what to do, except be sad. On the bright side though; at least you're finding out about it early enough. What's bad is when you don't know you had one and it ruptures, like mine did back in 2004. I almost died. I'll keep you in my prayers and thoughts, sweetie, and good luck.
Love always,
Annie:) "

" This is my biggest fear. I'm so sorry to hear this happened. Did you get the first one clipped or coiled? How long ago? You mentioned that the annie is small, but was it big enough to start giving you headache symptoms or were you just lucky and found it by accident?

I'm praying for you, girl. Keep us posted, keep talking, keep breathing. You've beat this before, you can beat it again!

" Hi Sandra
Sorry to hear of your further problems, follow your intuition and have this aneursym checked out and treated or monitered.
I have a 3mm that has been monitered for the past 4 years, in addition to the one that ruptured. It is not at all uncommon for people to have more than one aneurysm, it is thought to be an inherited weakness of the cerebral arteries that causes this, lucky us huh?? As long as I take care of my health it is stable and has not grown in size. regular exercise, not smoking, BP pills and try to keep stress down has worked for me. My best to you, you are not alone in this, keep us posted ,
Ruthie "
