Hi I am 29 yrs old and on 02/08/09 I had a ruptured brain anerysm on my right side. I have lost feeling on my left side, I can feel some things but not all for instance, I can't type like I used too. I's like my brain is telling me where to put my fingers but they will not move there. Just wondering if I will ever get the feeling back like before or will it always be like this. I know I am a walking miracle and I thank god everyday but sometrimes I get depressed. and have alot of anxiey. Wanted to knowif these feelings are normal. Also if anyone knows anyone as young as me that went hrough the same thing or semi same. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Jennifer, I am 33 years old and had a sudden rupture and clipping on 3/4/09 on my right side.
I did not experience loss of feeling, so I can't help with that, sorry. I agree we are walking miracles and I often feel depressed especially when I think of my nearly 100% recovery. I am very thankful and grateful, but also perplexed at the same time. My husband says I should just embrace the wonderful things God has given me and move on in life...but it is so hard. Maybe in time the feelings will diminish. Are you going back for follow up checks?

Yes I am going back for follow ups but my neurologist is an hour and half away, so my PCP has recommended that I go to someone lin my area for meds for the headahes Thanks for your response and advice. These headaches are horrible and I only have 2 pain pills left, so I'm hoping that I can get iin with him in the next few days because Tynenol does't work an that is all I can take because I 'm on Coumadin. Do you take anything for headaches? I just want to know what my options are. Thanks, Jennifer

Because of the nature of my rupture and the pain I felt, I hesitate to take pain meds at first when I get a headache. I usually try to wait it out...drinking lots of fluids and making sure my blood sugar is in check. I only take Tylenol, nothing more.

Thanks for your thoughts and advice. See my new post tonight on my 3 month check up. Keep me posted on how you are doing with the headaches and loss of feeling, I am hopeful that you will find meds that work for you and give you the relief you deserve.
