Pre Surgery dreams

Hi, I was recently diagnosed with a 4mm brain aneurysm and have been scheduled for the clipping surgery. I've been dealing with everything pretty good but have noticed that since my surgery was scheduled (it's a few weeks away) I've been having the weirdest most vivid dreams and I don't generally even remember my dreams. They're not about the surgery, just weird random things.

I've also been having a lot of "deja vu" moments where I can remember someone doing or saying something before but it was coming from a different person.

Did anyone else experience this prior to their surgery? Is it just stress related perhaps?

" Hi,

Have they put you on any new medication lately???

Some medications can make you have vivid dreams, as far as the deja vu I have no clue but to say enjoy them!!!

May today bring you peace,
Shannon "

" Hi I hope your surgery went well. I did have some very vivid dreams that were weird. I put it down to stress. The craniotomy and the whole process has had a profound effect on me. It has been two weeks since my surgery and I am still in pain, not unbearable but constant. I am still having very involved dreams but again I am putting it down to a released from the stress (which I tried not to entertain) that I am alive. Apart from the headaches I have no other effects except that I am grateful that my surgeon had a passion for his profession that led him to "fix" me and gave me a chance to meet me first g/child due in Oct.

I know it is scary, stay positive and allow the experience to teach you.The very best for your recovery. Lots of hugs "
