I've been reading a lot on people with "annie's"...and I'm scared. I've had one...but I see there is a great chance that I will get more....
Have any of you had more than one????...do they explain how and why???...I don't believe I am mentally able to go thru this trauma again if it happens....

" My neuro said my scan showed no other and that they take many years to develop, so I wouldn't live long enough to have another one rupture. I guess that's comforting in a weird sort of way..... Now, if I can just look out for that bus or that bolt of lightning!!! :) "

" Hi maddy well I had one annie that ruptured and then six more that they coiled. My last one will be clipped in December. All I want is for them to be all fixed and to feel like getting out of bed. The docs found all mine with an mri I think my amount was unusual. Plus I had an avm they gamma knifed. I'm not sure if I could go thru a second rupture physically or mentally. "

" I dont know how you find the strength, but keep up the great work of doing so. We usually find one or two people that stick it thru with you. I've lost all my friends and most of my family. I would pray for you, but I've given up my faith. I can't seem to find my way back. But I will think of you and know you will make it thru. I wish all of us can just wake up with a normal day, clear head, no pain. I have my angiogram coming up next month. I can't seem to think positive ...I just somehow have this feeling that they will find more. stay strong ! "

" I am 24 years old and in January my life changed dramatically, I was going 2 the dr for headaches and vision problems and they decided 2 get an MRI done they found a spot but they were not 100% if it was even an aneurysm so then in febuary i went in for an angiogram and there ended up being a total of 3 on my right carotid artery and not only are they wide necked but my carotid artery is not branched it is more coiled around. I had surgery done in march and had stents put in, there is still a possibility of having more surgeries done but not so sure. "
