Anxiety or yelling

I was on the site a few years ago and learned a lot of tips. My heart and prayers go out to you all. I am a caregiver for my spouse of 35 years who had a right subaccroid hemmorage communication artery in 2003 and 1 clipping and a CVA left side in 2004 with 3 clippings. I thought I had this all leveled out and in a routine and now my wife is starting to yell (30-40 minutes) and causes harm to herself with scratching and rubbing. I try to find out if she is in pain or something, but she stated nothing. It almost apperas like she has symptoms similar to ALS patients. Has anyone else experienced this after 6 years?

Tom

" Hi Tom
It sounds like the CVA she had may have had some adverse effect to her, sometimes stroke victims will yell out for no reason or have strange behavior like trying to harm themselves. Is she able to comunicate verbally her need to you?
i would definately have her checked out by her doctor, to make sure she is not having other problems elsewhere, keep me posted and God bless you for being such a great caregiver, not an easy job, she is lucky to have you
Ruthie "
