So I'm starting to think this is my year to physically break down. I was told i am iron-defecient anemic a year ago, when my hemaglobin/crit was so low i had to go in for 5 bags of blood (transfusions:) and IV iron. THIS year, or summer, to be exact, apparently I let myself run out of everything.. i've had a potassium transfusion in the ER, been admitted overnight for three blood transfusions, and iron, had a gi bleed, and have developed a rash (intense horrifying rash) that either looks like a severe case of chicken pox, measles or horribe all over acne...and no dr or hospital has really given me an answer on that, though i've done 5 rounds of steriods this summer, and six rounds of antibiotic, and one round with an antiviral...and yes, i did get tested for ALL communicable diseases or stds, and came back clean and healthy. I am also insanely tired....all the time...and I shouldn't be, since i do take adderall three times a day for adhd...none the less, i'm sleeping like 18 hrs a day. I'm just at the end of my rope, with figuring this out. any help or advice would be great. oh, and the anemia is most likely a direct result of having gbs in 2001. i kept the weight off....but am sstartingto wonder at what cost....
