I forgot to mention this in all of the excitement in the last couple of weeks, but the day that I was in the hospital getting 2 units of blood- so was my Grandmother.

I asked about Genetic possibilities but didn't get a clear answer. I'm going to bring it up again on the 25th for my follow up with the hematologist.

Weird eh?

" That is weird that you both were in on the same day. I think you find that it may be hereditary. My mother has always had problems w/Anemia w/a multitude of other hereditary conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, etc. I have almost everything she does except heart issues and most of my brothers and sisters have almost same health issues and we see it in a lot of her adult grandchildren, too. "
