Is anyone familiar with sperocytosis? My daughter was diagnosed as soon as she was born. She had three blood transfusions her first 3 months of life and was fine until she was 2 1/2 years old. Her knee ballooned up on March 15 and she has since been diagnosed with JRA. It appears that the JRA has aggravated the anemia. She has required two additional trasfusions since she was diagnosed with JRA. Does anyone have any similar experiences?
