I've been reading about how coffee can hinder the absorption of iron. I was just wondering what your experiences have been w/coffee and anemia.

And please don't tell me I have to give up my morning cup of coffee! ;o)

" Take your iron supplement later in the day. Also take it with a glass of orange juice helps the body absorb it better, I dod not give up my coffee. Just played around with the time I took it.. Good Luck "

" Calcium also inhibits iron absorption. Just take your iron at least 2 hours before or after your coffee or calcium containing products. Your morning coffee is safe from extinction! "
