In the body of a teen.
Innocence lost too young
When the world lies twisted
And the ordinary become
Perverted and obscene.
Barbie dolls give way
To superstars,
Fashionistas.
And the high school drama queens.
No time to savor being
The child of ones who love.
No time to be
Simply who you are.
Too many young souls,

How many layers to the core of the soul? Do we grow outward, in rings like a mighty oak, or in fragile fibres like a blade of grass. Can we ever find the single strand which defines us, motivates all of our choices and movements? Has anyone ever gotten that deep into themselves?

Yesterday Dies
Embers crackle against the silence,
reminding of dreams recently deceased.
Blood pounds in the ears, anxious and uncertain,
as the Old Gods remain unappeased.
Darkness swirls like smoke,
dimming a once rosy view to blushing gray.
The present and the past are gone,

He asks for nothing. His demeanor is humble, unassuming, stoic, even. His face is forgetable, with no ravishing beauty, or grotesque ugliness to set it apart. He blends in. Well, I have reached my goal but still so far off. Walking with the canes has been great better than the walker still cant stay up long but working on that. Wander if I ll ever get to that point. Seems so far off. Ive been parking the chair and walking more , but get easily worn out. They say well you havent walked for 2 and a half years it will take time.
