New click prosthetic... my physiotherapist told me that there is a new click prosthetic. He read it in a Holland Journal. I don't read Dutch so I looked online but couldn't find anything on it. Does anyone here know what a click prosthetic is? They insert a long screw into the bone and then you just click the prosthetic leg or foot onto the screw. Sounds easy and no liner...
I haven't had my elective amputation yet because of severe carpal tunnel syndrome in both wrists and I only had surgery on my right wrist one month ago. I have been so full of injuries and neurological problems the last few years that I want to enjoy the next five years, hopefully, without more problems before I consider amputation again. I also hope in the meantime there are more advancements such as the click prosthetic, and hopefully a cure or prevention for phantom limb pain. Does anyone have more information about click prosthetics? Thanks
