Searching for a foot that does this:

I've been searching all over the internet for a foot that can bend forwards, backwards and sideways at the ankle, sufficiently to allow me to walk up and down slopes. Ideally I would like it to have a self-adjustable button to adjust ankle height for different height shoe heels, the higher the better.
I have been unsuccessful in finding this because I don't understand all the technical jargon that takes years for these doctors and false leg manufacturers to study. Posted on 04/02/09, 05:04 pm |

Good luck with that your better off making one yourself I my leg doc about that and he didn't know anything like that because I was looking for something like that but no luck. When I walk up hills I use more toes, and down hill use ny heal more. I if you do find something please let me know

I have a small non-healing spot on my left BKA that I am trying to heal @ Wound Center to get to a prosthesis, but I have checked this out: go to www.BioQuestPros.com and take a look at the PerfectStrideIIx3 foot. I think you will like what you see. It's the one I plan to get when I get to a prosthesis (soon I pray!).

I dont believe there is a foot that does all that you would like it too do...that being said...out of all the different feet I have tried the Perfect Stride by bioquest comes the closest....to what you are looking for. I have posted some videos on utube, showing activities that I have done on the perfect stride foot...if your interested , my user name on utube is mynameisfrosty with no spaces...you can check out the videos..and let me know what you think...
