Ever since I was a young child, quite often I zone out, like, I'll be walking, and then I will have to stop because I am confused as to where I am, even though I mentally know where I am, but everything looks different, warped, like a magic eye puzzle. I always have to take a minute and reassure myself I know where I am, so I don't panic, and forget how to get home.

It doesn't even have to be when I'm outside either, quite often I'll be in my own home, and I'll get up to walk to the kitchen or something, and then just zone out. I'll have to pause and say to myself, "Okay Sarah, you are safe, you know where you are", and then when I open my eyes, I am fine.

I remember it happening a lot at my nan's place, and sometimes i still think maybe something wrong happened there, but I dismiss it because I have no proof...

Does this happen to anyone else or just me? If so, I'd love to talk to someone about it.
