"Tomorrow" - the famous last words of many alkies and addicts

I used to say I would get sober "tomorrow"

Now, I say that I'll get through today and think about drinking tomorrow

Both are sayings centered around the same word, but they are worlds away in sentiment.

If you are still drinking and your mantra right now seems to be "tomorrow" then I hope that one day, sooner than later, your tomorrow becomes today.

" Absolutely! I always said "just tonight", I won't drink tomorrow and before I knew it, a whole year had passed & I was still drinking just as I always was. "
