G'Day to everyone. Gosh it's been a quiet night on the board, hopefully all the Americans are snuggly tucked in after their day of festivities. Hey, we havn't had one of these for a while, so pop in and let us know how your 4th July was, or for those who are new, introduce yourselves and let us know how your getting on yeah.

Hi everyone! Well, yesterday was a super sober 4th! It started out rainy and yucky here in Chicago land and then suddenly the sun came out and it warmed up so we went to the Great Lakes Navel Station where they were having a huge carnival and music and fireworks.. went with hubby and daughter, Dad and his girlfriend and my nephew.. The fireworks were a half hour long and were the best I have ever experienced! it was cool how for this one day they (the Navy) opened it up for the "civilians" and of course it had the very patriotic feel to it as the sailors and families were everywhere!
Today is a beautiful day and we are having family over for swimming and a cookout.. I say thanks to God for another glorious day!! Sobriety rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have a great day everyone!!
