Hi there CM, well it's 10am here in England right now and I am doing the laundry from our camping week. Just sat down with a cuppa to see what is happening on the boards. Of course our seasons are opposite and we are having some glorious weather here in the UK summer right now so I will go and have a look around the garden later and cut some grass etc.

It would be nice to hear how all spent their 4 July holiday. For those who were struggling yesterday, it is always nice to get back to an ordinary day and for those who celebrated sober, I hope you all had a great day!

Oh dear I feel guilt, you people have done so much all ready I've just crawled out of bed at 11, made a cup of tea and thought I'd have a look what was happening on here! my sponsors left a message on my phone, something along the lines get you lazy B**stool! Its so hot again! I've got a meeting at 3 so gonna have to dressed! oh boo!

Yep was a cold wet day here too good thing was the mighty Blues when in the West and that will always cheer this old blokes heart.

We pretty much had our 4th on the 3rd, which is wife's BD.
We golfed 18 had lunch out and then went to dinner at my daughter's house , with she and her family and our youngest son. Got to play with the grandkids.
I told my daughter that her kids are stronger and quicker than she and her siblings were at that age cause they tire me out much more easily! She had the nerve to insinuate that I might be just getting older!! It was a great day!
Yesterday we had a cold rain all day and worked on various indoor projects.
Hope eveyone had a happy, sober 4th!

Geez blues, 11am! I felt bad not getting up until 8.45 am. Had some rain here in the midlands but it's brightening up now. Got a friend coming round this afternoon but we are struggling to think of something to do, we are both skint! Probably just play ps2 games and wind each other up lol.

Hope all those in the US had a good sober 4th. Wimbledon final here today, so can expect more rain!

The 4th was great, very heart warming and with a lot of work, I got my son to watch fireworks. I love the 4th of July, next to Easter it's my favorite holiday - as far as the meaning of the holiday - I am in an out - just a busy weekend, water leak (appears to be city's) is flooding my yard, house repairs still taking place and having to work - ALL IS A BLESSING in my eyes - No matter the stress always blessed -

Good morning peeps-it's 9:45am here & I just woke up. Sober sleep is GLORIOUS! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

It is overcast here & looks like rain. I'm going to my sisters pool with my mom & we're surprising her with birthday cake & gifts & balloons for her birthday next week. Then we'll grill out for dinner.....

Yesterday I was a slug....I had a very busy Friday and will be gone all day today so yesterday I did laundry...and slept! Did I mention that sleep is glorious? I'm catching up on years of "passing out" instead of "drifting off" and I LOVE IT! YAY! :)

Good morning from Thunder Bay, its 10:49 am here, the sun is shining theres a cool breeze "awesome day for yard work.. and a swim later with a bbq... I don't celebrate july 4th here ... however Canada Day was great ... was sober and life is still sober... Here's hoping everyone another great 24!

Ok, Ok, my 4th was great, seen a movie and was out by 11pm got 9 hours of sleep, feel like a million bucks!

woke up about a hour ago....im just preparin for my college interview for tomorrow.. im quite nervous... hope every1 is cool :)
