That is rather amusing... I am just back from a week's holiday in fabulous Devon, we had beautiful sunny weather. I also got a tan and feel relaxed and happy so I toast you all, my American cousins, with a fine cup of tea! Happy Independence Day!

Have a great day celebrating! Not sure if I am glad we got rid of the United States, I don't think we had much option there - I'd like New York back, but we'd bugger it up anyway!! It's still my favourite place.

Have a Happy Independence Day. We celebrated Canada Day on July 1st. It's not as dramatic because the Brits just told us to bugger off and become our own country. lol We didn't have to fight for our independence. It was like the consolation prize at a cheap game show.

LOL I was just thinking of that aspect...being engaged to a Britt and celebrating the 4th of July. lol I wonder how HE will see the holiday when he becomes a resident here??? hmm
