I'm a big "rights" guy, hence the don't tread. So today I reflect on the "Tyranny from within" that Jefferson warned us about and the near abolishion of State's Rights in modern times.
I reflect on why we fought so hard to get rid of kings and queens and simply re-created them in our entertainment world: From A-Rod to MJ to Ophra. No offense to our British friends , you guys are far better allis than most of our own politicans are! On the more practical side, yesterday was my wife's BD and our 4th. We played 18 holes, went out to lunch and had dinner with my daughter and her family, including the two greatest grandchildren on earth!

I am working most of the day but will be spending the evening with my hubby sipping club soda w/ lime watching the live Niel Diamond concert on tv. We will go on our balcony and watch the fire works too! My flag waves proudly!

Every 3 day July 4th weekend in the past has been spent beside someone's pool completely smashed out of my mind!!
This year...yesterday I spent the entire day marathon shopping with my daughter & her girlfriend, we had a blast, they wore me out, I went to bed at 8:30 last night! It was still daylight!! :) Today I will do grocery shopping & might run by an AA cookout, then will meet with my sponsor later this evening. Tomorrow I will swim all day at my sister's house with me mama & we will surprise my sis with cake, balloons & gifts to celebrate her birthday next week. Monday-I will feel glorious waking up for work & will not vomit!! yay!!! :) That's the best part!!
