Ok, we had fun-I left town though and got away from my neighbors....got 2 little ones bubz, yes they loved it :) Just crabby as I only like noise when I am involved in creating it....

Hoping all my fellow American's had a safe and freakishly fun 4th.

Funny, when I was younger, I loved to blow stuff up. It's a guy thing....I mean this was fun well into my late 20's or early 30's. BUT, yes, the dogs are terrified and it never lets up. They start at noon sometimes and go till 3:00am It just gets old I'd be fine with it if it was only on the 4th, but it's on the 2nd,3rd,4th, and 5th. Heck, they'll still be using up the leftovers next weekend. Everything is legal in our state. You can set off mortars, missles....you name it....and no one will stop you.

as being someone in sobriety I can't complain about the drunks, cause I have been there myself. But I spend a day with my fiance and we watched the fireworks that the city does each year and they were great, and eating some steak and some potato salad was awesome too. I am grateful I was alive and sober to see another 4th of july pass, hope I am hear to see the next one. God only knows.

when I was younger my dad use to give me M80's and firecracker's, I thought that was great, but could have been dangerous, once I had a firecracker in my hand it was one of the smaller one's I forget what they were called they were half the size of a regular firecracker and my cousin lit it and it went off in my finger's, I was lucky I didn't lose a finger or anything but my hand was very numb all that day and it hurt like hell, I never did that again. The only thing I don't like is the people who use there guns to celebrate, I use to work in a hospital and we would see people come in and said they were sitting in a jacuzzi and something hit them it turned out to be a bullet, what goes up alway's comes down.
