I am a recovering alcohol going to AA 5 times a week.I am an avid reader of books that help me understand my problem better.I am so thankful for the beautiful lady I have that has been my hero to me.She has been there for me more than I ever thought she would be considering what we been through.I love her dearly and want to keep my life with her.She is inquiring what al-anon is and how it can help her understand what I'm giong through?Do they have book to read for info on alcoholics?She wants to know if they have a book like the big book in AA.If so where can we get one? Blessings to all for what you have done for us both.

The Big Book is also for alanon members. We are adapted off the 12 step program. She can work the steps with a alanon sponcer and I think it would do her some good to read "To the wives" in the Big Book and "The family afterwards" if she has not read it already.
