" Hi- I am one of them. Trying everyday to get better- but it is a struggle. I am so happy here, I have met so many great people. I don't feel so alone anymore and it feels good to admit to so much I have kept to myself. I hope you like it here and people help you too. I don't have any friends in the 'real' world, and I am glad to be here with like minded, nice people. "

" I am just about housebound with my agoraphobia, and it seems that very few people understand it, so tell you to get out and get on with things. What helps is setting very small goals for yourself, be they in the house or in the yard, so that you can achieve them and feel like you have taken a step forward. I write a list each night of what I want to get done the next day, sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. Try baby steps which are achievable. Welcome to the group and know that this is one place we understand each other and can give support. Yell if you would like to chat. "
