Why I like this group

I find it very difficult to talk about my social anxieties, especially about not wanting to leave the house much of the time. There is always a worry of a friend (or family member) just backing off or maybe completely going away.
Recently that happened on DS and that surprised me, I don't know why but I guess I still have high hopes for only positive support here. On the Agoraphobia board I don't remember once feeling like someone replying was not right there with me in the trenches, dealing with it. Sometimes we might have trouble talking about it but I never feel like a freak like I do in other places in my life. I really appreciate it. Posted on 06/18/12, 11:58 pm |

Really?! I dont mean to start any wars but out of curiosity may I ask which board it was?
I agree with you totally, but I guess that as long as your on the internet and have some sort of anonymity there will always be mean people and trolls, I would like to see this place stay clean though

For me, the anonymity is what makes it easier to express my feelings. But that also gives an opportunity to other people to treat others in whichever way they want. Yep, I really wish DS will stay awesome (but I know hoping for 100% is not realistic).
