My son's school is running a autumn craft fayre, where the children have to make something and I we are both completly stuck for ideas. The choices are a either a animal or person made out of vegetables or any piece of art made out of natural items such as leaves, shells. Any help would be gratefully recieved thank you.

Pinecones are good for a lot of different crafts. I was surprised to see all the ideas when i googled it.

You can make a turkey out of leaves and a large pinecone....my sons class did this...and they had a blast...the bigger the leaves the better

Would any of these ideas fall within their requirements? :
take a wide craft needle and a sturdy piece of twine or string and make a "leaf necklace" or a "leaf wreath" by just poking thru the center of each leaf (like a candy necklace LOL) or are you allowed to use clay pots? if so, there's this cute idea of using twine to attach them (various sizes) to make a "fall person" like the chest and stomach would be two large pots having their open ends touching and the face would be two medium ones twined together the same way and their legs and arms are a bunch of smaller pots just set inside each other and twined thru the drain hole. or you could always take nuts and seeds and glue together a collage = )
