I wanted to share with you al some great games for kids. I am really picky about the games I let my kids play and I want high quality, kid freindly, and educationally fun games with out always being in your face education that the kids dont always like.

Humoungous makes great kids games. They make a line of sports games called backyard baseball(or what ever the sport is) where its the neighohood kids that you pick from to make teams. ANd the stuff they say is usually very encouraging no negative feild talk. They also make the freddie fish, Putt putt the car and pajama sam games. They are 'maze' like games or 'rpg' games for kids. You are the fish/car/sam and you wander the 'world' solving problems presented to you. Like the fish may say go get me this key and I can do this for you... putt putt is a little harder where you may go to get the key and have to do a different task to get the key, pajama sam may say hmmm I love bbq sauce on my frys.., your staring at a pile of frys you need to go away and need to figure out to go get the sauce and put it on the frys so the pile will get eaten.... (deductive reasoning) then they have the spy fox which is a lot harder for older kids...

One of the things I like is that if all yo know how to do is click a mouse if you click on stuff the things do stuff. If all you can do is hit a key on the key board again things do stuff so you can have no skill and still do stuff. Also they have mini games with in the game that have learning aspects to them. SO you can have the educational stuff with out being in your face.

I found them a long time ago (in the 90s) when y son was little. I saved them and now that my daughter is big enough she is playing those same games.

THe one problem IM having is that the games are older and my computer is a 64 bit computer and the games dont work so I have to keep an old pc around for the older software. They do make new versions of thier ames so I am going to invest in stuff.

WHat other kids software have you found to be highly entertaining for kids that runs well and doesnt look cheap??? I get so angry with the software that is made in the current days but looks like it was made in the 80s.... kids are so much more entertained by suff imo when the quality is put into it....

" ok I just checked out thedownload... it gives you an option for partial game play or purcasing the full version... (for a reasonable amount really) but besure to check the store for the hard copy as sometimes you can get them in bundles with more then one game for the same price as one... "
