for some reason the docs here in az dont seem to be pushing the H1N1 and only the reg flu shot. Both my daughters doc and my perinatal doc have only recomended the reg flu shot. I got my reg flu shot and now im waiting for a clinic to get my daughters. I dont think I want to introduce the H1N1 viral bugs into my house even by way of the shot. My daughter doesnt go to school so her time with other kids is limited. I think this season we will jsut hang close to home and keep our hands clean

Thats funny, My dr had us get her the reg flu shot but not the H1N1 too. I think its because around here, they do not have a thimerisol (mercury) free version of the H1N1. They did have a thimerisol free reg flu shot for her though.

Our pediatrician said she is not giving it to her daughter b/c she felt it needed more testing first.
