Changing daycares

Alright so for the past year my daughters been in full time daycare with familly firends. Due to finances and issues with the ex I've decided to go for subsidized daycare, and the daycare that has accepted my daughter garantees her a spot in the before and after school care at the school she will be going (so no waiting and no what if once she starts school).

Now im worried if this change will have a negative effect on her in any way...? She is very close to the care givers (they are a retired couple babysitting max 5 kids) and all the kids get a long. In this new daycare she will be part of a group of 10 kids with 2 care givers. its one of those daycares that are like mini schools so it will help prepare her for next year when she starts actual school.

Has anyone else made the change from a home to a regular daycare?

" My daughter recently switched Day cares and our experience has been positive. She was in a less structured environment at the other day care, as it was in home.
I think this is better for her. The structure will prepare her for school in a couple of years and she is learning more at the new daycare.
I think it is all in how you present it to her. My daughter was all excited to go the new daycare because we (myself and my family) all made a big deal about how cool and neat it was she was going to go to a big girl school. Its still early on but most days she loves it and we feel more confident and secure with her in the more structured setting. Whatever you decide I'm sure it will be fine.
