I am trying to potty train my 2yo daughter and it is not going well at all. She always tells me she has to potty after she do it. Or she tells me she has to potty and just sit there and does nothing. If you all have any advice please share. I am going crazy over here trying to make it work.

" She is on the right track just knowing when she has gone. My 2 y/o was going every day for 1 1/2 months, then for the past 2 weeks nothing. Most times she won't even sit on it. Just keep trying and don't get frustrated. With my oldest, I put the potty in the living room and let her run around with no pants on so long as we were the only ones home. There were alot of messes to clean at first, but she got better. It is true when they say every child is different. My youngest is very stubborn about it. Have you tried regular training pants? She may not like the feeling of being wet and start going on the potty more. Remember to be consistant. Put her on it atleast every hour and immediately after naps. It will happen, just not when you want it to :) Good luck. "
