Hey Ladies.
My son is 3.5 months old and I've been suffering from pretty constant and severe leg muscle/joint pain since he was about 3 or 4 weeks old. I finally went to a chirpractor a few weeks ago who said my hips/pelvis were badly out of whack and he's helped to improve things. However...I'm still having a LOT of pain

it's similar to that feeling you get after a hard work out....then for a few days your body is just tight and sore. THAT's how it feels for me but it's all the time. If i sit in a chair for 10 minutes or 2 hours or any length of time in between, I limp when I get up cause my feet, ankels, knees hurt. When I carry my son in his car seat, my shoulders, arm muscles, etc. hurt. I just hurt everywhere all the time.

Is this a post partum thing I should see an OB for....is this normal...has anyone else experienced this???

" I don't have it postpartum because I'm so anal about the labor/delivery part to avoid that problem. I have horrible problems with my pelvis when pregnant and my doc warned me that if your not really careful during and right after the baby's birth that those problems can become permanent. I really hope that yours is not. It can be VERY painful and one of the few things that helped me when I was pregnant was a pelvic brace and seeing my physical therapist. She was an angel and the work she did and had me do at home made me feel LOTS better. My doc never could do anything to help, most just say it's normal "pregnancy stuff" which means that after the baby is born they will probably say it's normal "postpartum" stuff. I hope you get to feeling better soon! "

" Did u have an epidural or a c-section? Could it e related to that? Fi so, I would start with your ob-gyn...and see some specialist, like a neurologist, who can order an MRI and rule out any nerve damage....good luck "

" It sounds like fibromyalgia to me. Maybe you have some autoimmune stuff going on?? You have PCOS, right? Sometimes pregnancy can cause autoimmune problems to flare up. My friend has lupus and it was horrible right after she had her daughter. "
