EVERY parent of a teenager MUST read this. I wish I had read it 5 years ago. The BEST resource I have found to help me deal with my teen. I can now laugh a lot of the time rather than cry and I know we are all "normal". Nothing I could say about this book would be high enough praise. I have read every book I could get my hands on relating to this topic over the past five years and this one is the only one that felt relevent and actually had an impact, and it started on the first page!! I would love to hear from you after you read it.

" Read this, read this, read this! What a great way to somehow look at it from their side while maintaining your parental rights, instincts, etc. I have been much happier looking at these times through the advise and guidance in this book. The author happened to be in the area also over the summer speaking at local high schools. I missed it, but will be on the lookout for another tour in the future. "

" This book made me feel like I was not a failure as a parent when ours reached middle school; could laugh and share incidents with others....did not feel so "alone". "
