Let me start by saying I do not let her "cry it out" and I breast feed...my daughter is 25weeks today and she's at least 15 pounds...she is happy and healthy. We have a routine...she goes to bed at 8p...and then it begins..she wakes sometimes at 930p or 1230a or 2a...then she wakes at 4a or 5a or 530a...she has cereal, she has formula 1x at night...she has baby food(fruit or veggies) she nurses on demand...Ive done everything people have suggested...why isn't she sleeping through the night. I'm exhausted, the thought of having another child scares me and Im just tired..

I'm afraid I can't help you but just know you're not alone. My son is 8 months old and he still wakes up, sometimes 5-6 times. We've tried everything including CIO for 10 days. Nothing worked. We co-sleep now and I bf him lying down. I also go to bed when he does (7pm) and sometimes I get up for an hour around 10, other nights I sleep until he wakes up for the day (7am). I'm not tired anymore :) but I'm missing a lot of TV and hubby time. Oh well. I guess this will all work out somehow. I'm also scared about the next baby and how I'd handle my son and another baby. I hope something changes by then.

My son is almost 10 months and eats 3 meals and a snack during the day, but still gets up.2-3 times a night to nurse. I guess I've adjusted, because I'm not that tired anymore, but maybe it's because I usually fall asleep by 8 watching TV because I'm so exhausted!

My son is now 12 months old and still wakes 1-2 times a night. He only slept through the night for a short stretch. It is exhausting, especially since I'm up working on homework for my Master's program until about 10 p.m. and then have to get up for work the next morning. Just know that you're not alone, and it's not all that uncommon.

Wow...ok so I'm not alone. Most people I meet tell me how early their kid slept through the night. Some nights are better than others...I do go to bed when she does usually at 8p last night 730p...no big deal we get up at 530a so it's not that early for me. I sleep with my hubby then when she wakes I usually take her into the guest room and nurse her while I sleep. It helps...I hope this passes. Some friends and family are enouraging me to "sleep train" or let them "cry it out" but Im not feeling that...wmy husband seems to think it has something to do with her getting stuck in the corners...who knows.
