do you dislikle the term birth mothers?
Would you prefer natural mothers? my mother doesn't like the use of the birth mothers,to her it is like a baby factory name. please let us know how you feel and perhaps we can start changing the terminology so as not not hurt anyones feelings and make this awful situation easier in even a little way. so it is natural or birth? natural mother,first mother,bio mom-ANYTHING but birthmom!!That just feels like a slap in the face like we are some kind of breeders only, w/ no feelings! Just my opinion though!I have lost 3 & it is the most HORRIBLE thing anyone has to go through!!I do have 1 son left-thank GOD for him-hes my strenghth!!

I have posted this on a few adoption sites and it seems to me that mothers who had kids stolen or were forced to give them up are offended by the term birth mum.My mum is and this is why i posted this for us to be kind to those who have suffered and feel the thoughts you have also expressed
