A six year old that she will have a new mommy?She still calls me mommy and the foster mom who is going to adopt her by her name!!She says to me "I love you mommy!"This is breaking my heart as this is going to be VERY traumatic for BOTH of us!!I
hope she never forgets me. I believe the foster mom is telling her lies about me! The ONLY person she will have visitation w/ is her 13 year old brother! The judge said they have a close sibling bond!My rights were terminated 2 weeks ago. My son HATES the foster mom because he feels that she stole Melinda from us.I know we should ALL have therapy-but my insurance doesnt cover it! I want my daughter to know she will ALWAYS be loved and by seeing her brother maybe she can be reminded of that! Why are they traumatizing her even further by trying to distance her from the FAMILY that loves her?Will she be traumatized for life?Thank you for listening-ANY reply would be helpful!!

I'm sorry to hear about this. I'm sure your daughter will always know of the love you have for her. Just be happy that your son will still be close to her, and by that he will let her know that you're not far away when she can decide for herself in life.
