" kellers,

Have you tried contacting the National Adrenal Disease Foundation (http://www.nadf.us/links/support.htm)? They may be able to put you in touch with other parents of kids with AD that you can compare notes with.

I'm sorry I can't be of more help, but I've only dealt with this as an adult. "

" kellers,
Do you follow his blood sugar at all? Cortisol plays a big part in glucose levels and metabolism so it all gets cross connected. I wonder if he's having high glucose levels? Just a thought.

" hi,
Thanks for your replies.
Cokecpl, thanks i will check out that site.

Vanyel, no we don't, we've never been told to, when he has his visits with his endo they do bloods and check everything then and obviously when he has his 24 hour blood profiles done.
We're waiting to hear from his endo today or tomorrow to see what he wants to do, Rhys is on double doses at the moment as a precaution at the advise of his endo nurse until proff hindmarsh is back today.
Should i suggest that maybe we start checking his blood sugar at home?
