I try not to look at my health as a day by day thing. Rather, I think back to August whenI couldn't stay awake for more than an hour at a time, and I was so weak I wasn't sure if I could make it to the bathroom.

I just noticed that todays date last year also has a bright green smiley face in my journal, so of course, as I rarely use that face, I had to check it out........... our dear friend Linda Butterfly was involved then as well !

The postman didn't even knock once and yet his arrival this afternoon has totally changed my life for the rest of it.....................however long that may be.

Have been feeling this way for quite sometime now,mostly it concerns guilt,which tends to haunt me at every opportunity.
I guess it stems from a religious upbringing which although has kept me in good stead in some respects,it does tend to add to my problems.
I even feel guilty writing this.........

Okay i just realized that i am on my 3rd cycle about to go into my 4th if my hpt is negative saturday. I know shame on me for forgetting but the one that i forgot was the clomid cycle. That was my very first cycle and it didnt work for me at all. It turned me into a mean hateful terrible person...ugh!! Thats probabaly why i forgot. Hello All!! So i actually got some great news Wed Oct 28th which was that i could take my trigger shot that Thursday night. We did and of course because we bd that whole week not really thinking that we were that close to taking our trigger shot. Anywho my RE said i would be ovulating Sat Oct 31. Well now im in my 2ww and im kinda worried with the cramping and bleeding. DH and I had sex yesterday... -

Addison's Disease Information
Addison's disease (also known as chronic adrenal insufficiency, or hypocortisolism) is a rare endocrine disorder. It is estimated that it affects about 1 to 2 in 100,000 people. It occurs when the adrenal glands, seated above the kidneys, fail to produce enough of the hormone cortisol and, sometimes, the hormone aldosterone.
Addison's disease refers specifically to primary adrenal insufficiency, in which the adrenal glands themselves malfunction; secondary adrenal insufficiency occurs when the anterior pituitary gland does not produce enough adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) to adequately stimulate the adrenal glands.
Treatment
Treatment for Addison's disease involves replacing the missing cortisol and, if necessary, fludrocortisone as replacement for the missing aldosterone. Caution must be exercised when the person with Addison's disease has surgery or becomes pregnant. Treatment for an acute attack - an Addisonian Crisis - usually involves intravenous (into blood veins) injections of: Hydrocortisone, Saline solution (basically a salt water, same clear IV bag as used to treat dehydration), and Dextrose (a type of sugar).
Prognosis
While treatment solutions for Addison's Disease are far from precise, overall long-term prognosis is typically good. Because of individual physiological differences, each person with Addison's must work closely with their physician to adjust their medication dosage and schedule to find the most effective routine. Once this is accomplished (and occasional adjustments must be made from time to time, especially during periods of travel, stress, or other medical conditions), symptomology is usually greatly reduced or occasionally eliminated so long as the person continues their dosage schedule accurately.
