  • Update on my progress to reach my goals

    Sunday, May 25, 2008 | A Positive story

I officially passed my driving test on May 20th of this year and that is much of my goal.  The rest is moving,  getting transpotation,  a job,  and starting over with paying old bills - a fresh start with a new life on my own.  I have every hope and will do the rest of what I have to making sure that if anything happens I will be taken care of and will be able to leave my...

  • Things are slowly falling into place!

    Saturday, June 7, 2008 | A Positive story

Well someone called about one of the things that I have for sale and I am happy.  I'll probably have to run the add for 3 more days - should have done that in the first place.  I am going to hand a huge sign on my Handicapped Parking sign annoucing a moving sale,  etc.  A lot of people drive by and hopefully someone will stop in and see what I have to sell.  ...

  • Goal update - Before I can dance...

    Thursday, October 2, 2008

My goal is to dance again....but I think after contemplating and brain processing Addison's information this evening....perhaps the first step towards the goal to dance again, is that I should first concentrate on learning how to walk.... :)  So tomorrow, I start walking....every day!

  • I have made some new friends on DS.  I decided to check into all the physical problems that I have listed for me a found a large array of people in different kinds of situations.  One is a nurse,  one is a woman who lost her son at the age of 2 from Addison's (remember God only takes the good people and sometimes they are too young to speak for themselves),  one is having ...

  • Oh La La

    Monday, May 18, 2009 | A Positive story

What a day of contrasts; started out sicker than a dog with some kind of bug I'd had since Fri. and ended this evening with the most amazing invention I've ever experienced !!!
I do owe someone here a huge thankyou, if you recognize yourself here, do let me know so I can thank you properly!  They had been asking themselves if maybe you could get the comfort from the 2 & 3 thousand...

  • There is much we CAN rise above - It's a Choice !!

    Wednesday, May 20, 2009 | A Positive story

Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me; at his tabernacle will I sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the LORD. (Psalm 27:6 NIV)
I used to think this verse did not really apply to me. I'm a pretty easy-going person. There are some that may not particularly like me, but enemies? Didn't think so.
I recently realized (through the help o...

  • The Measure of a Person

The true measure of an individual
is : how she treats a person
who can do her no good.

  • Each week goes by I'm a little stronger

    Saturday, October 24, 2009 | A Positive story

Wow, I got in the shower for the first time in almost three months yesterday.  If that's not a victory I don't know what is!  I didn't wash my hair so it was just a half shower, just scrubbed probably ten layers of dead cells off my skin.  There's no way I could have done that in August.
I am absolutely committed to not overdoing.  Every day is cautious, routin...
