Help w/ Leukemia Cutis

Any tips on useful treatements (other than getting rid of the leukemia)? My mom's showed up first on her back and lower legs, now has spread to her face and much of her body. She says it is not bothering her much, but she has a pretty high discomfort threshold. Everything I've found on line talks about diagnosis, symptoms, cause, etc. but nothing about trying to manage it...if that's even possible.
