Today I deleted the goal to beat the acute myelogenous Leukemia today, took down the portrait that was used in the paper, deleted the email address but could not delete his phone number from my cell. I still find it impossible to believe that he is gone.

I know I am going to make it now, I am feeling the changes. Every once in a while I will get knocked off my balance and feel the pain in my throat, the pain in my eyes and the hurt in my heart and I cry and cry. This is a nasty disease, not everyone beats it, and men dont go to the dr when they dont feel good. It took our entire family telling Brent that he looked very sick and should stop dieting and go to the dr. He was in blast crisis when he got to the dr, and they tried everything they could to save his life, if he had just gone in sooner. If, if if if if if... shoulda woulda coulda... I do that way too much. It is time for a new phase, I cant just grieve all the time. I have to do something else now...

If anyone needs help or support, I will try my best to help..

hugs to all

" Dear Paindora
I can do relate to what you wrote here. Okay not exactly since noone's situation is entirely the same. I felt and to some extent still feel pretty much the same or at least very similar feelings over Jerry. I give you my deepest sympathy concerning your brother.
The difference is not if only he saw the dr sooner, but if only he quit his work at the Dry Cleaners. They treated him like crap. He worked there 7 years and not even a cost of living raise . You're right I'm bitter about this. I can relate to shoulda, woulda, coulda.
