" I just went through a clofarabine trial-- it was.. interesting. I needed more blood transfusions than just with ARA-C, and my red cells didn't get the jump they used to with double bags of reds. Otherwise, it wasn't much different. I did have a hitch in that they worried I was getting cerebellum toxicity, but that was over-ruled.

I've heard other good things about getting clofarabine if you have never had a transplant before-- hwoever, if you've had one.. I've heard some very not good things. In that, a few in the study who had already had a transplant passed away during== but that those who have not yet had a tranplant have done very well-- myself included. "
