I was curious myself as I haven't heard of these levels. I've been told it may be a few years that I will need a Bone Marrow Transfusion as all treatments have not worked well. Probably stages like any other type of CA. I'm going to look it up.

I think you may be referring to the "M" stages of AML. If so the number refers to the stage in the development of the white blood cell when it turns into a leukemia bast. My son is at the M2 stage, which means his white blood cells have slight "Maturation=M". So I would read that as AML with blast starting at both the M1 stage but more at the M2 stage of maturation. This is an International scale and I believe the highest number of cell development/maturation is M7. So 1 and 2 would mean your white cells are brand new when they start to go awry, rather than at the middle or later stages of their growth cycle. I hope this helps.
