Hello everyone! I just joined the group and would like to introduce myself! I was diagnosed in 1997, when I was 12 years old. I will be turning 24 soon so that makes me an almost 12-year survivor!
I would like to hear all of your stories! I also would like to discuss any possible long-term effects of the treatment anyone has experienced. One long term effect of the treatment I am dealing with is osteopenia, or the stage before osteoperosis. I also have to get my heart checked every few years to check for long term effects of chemo.
