Many dont understand what its like for me cause i had the cancer such a long time ago now Im blessed to be here yet im still negative i have tons of family support but i dont feel they understand because yeah they may of been apart of the process but they werent the one experiencing it and they arent the one's who have to continue through all the effects long term so im looking for some peole who may be able to understand what im going through better because they went through the same

Yankees- Congrats on being a survivor. I, too am a survivor and find it hard sometimes to talk to people about it, so I completely understand. I was diagnosed when I was 12. I am almost 24 now. I also feel blessed to be alive. Let me know if you ever want to talk!

hey yankee, i had aal a long time ago, my family dont really talk about it but im still feeling the long term affects. i had serious behavioral probs coz of evreything i went thru, found myself an outlet, but i have never had anyone to talk to, i finally got taken to a councellor but she doesnt even know what its like to be us,
