How do I best support my friend?

Hello, I am looking for advice on how to support a friend who has recently been diagnosed with ALL. She is in her mid-thirties with two small children. She has lots of family and friends close by, so childcare and all of the daily things that she would normally handle are taken care of. She is hospitalized for a month for her initial treatments - what could I send to her or do for her that would be helpful? Thank you!

" Cooking meals she can freeze, looking into house cleaning etc ... baking her stuff to eat while at the hospital, gift cards for any of the resaurants or food chains at the hospital, i don't know if she has a tv or dvd player but maybe taking her some of the stuff, books.

I know when we've been at the hospital with my daughter those are some of the things people helped us out with. For us they brought us in colouring books, craft supplies etc (my daughter was 2 when diagnosed and now 3.5)

Hope that helps. Thoughts are prayers going out to your friend and her family "
