My Mother-in-law is in the ICU in the hospital. The doctors are 95 percent sure that she is showing the symptoms of Leukemia. I realize by my little bit of research that there are different types of Leukemia, so I apologize if I'm not in the right support group. My question is this, the doctors said that my Mother-in-law is too sick to do the bone marrow test to confirm this diagnosis and that she is probably in the last stages. Can someone please give me some more information or maybe help direct me? I'm not too sure if this means that she cannot receive any treatment or if she only has a few days to live. Please help me if you can.

Thank you.
