My sister has had her 2nd dose of chemo for AML, but it seems that infections or SOMETHING is blocking her every way she turns.....

yes, my daughter had ALL, when chemo is done, it breaks down the immune system, so things like colds etc..stuff we can usually fight off, become more intense on the body when recieving chemo. When the blood cultures are done, they waited for 48 hours until the infection had developed in her, then treated it with the appropriate antibiotics which worked
