Hi MBritt: I do not have any personal experience with any doctors in Houston, but I came across an article that mentioned acromegaly and the doctors were from Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. I believe that they have an endocrinology department. The names of the endos are: Sheldon Rubenfeld, M.D., Tiana Shiver, M.D. and Vivian Rodriquez, M.D.

I went to Dr. Steven Waugespack at MD Anderson. He deals with acromegaly and there is a very good neurosurgeon who just does pituitary adenomas, Dr. Ian McCutcheon. I went for a second opinion to them because I wasn't too sure UW was sure of what they were doing.
