Im sorry that you feel lousy on this drug, when you say you are quitting the drug, are you going on other medication?

sorry Yarick I see that I never answered your post, We have alsobeen given the go ahead for pegvisamont, it will take a few months, also levels are not coming down quick enough,Hope things are good for you at the moment, My daughter is a little better, so this is a plus, they also said they may mix octreotide and Peg together, I wonder why, im away for a week, speak soon

i just wanted to update on my journey with somavert. it started out great...it dropped my ifg1 immediately i felt no ill effects. since then i have been getting swelling at the injection sites called lypohypertrophy
(which is a build up of fat) and these swellings have caused AWFUL stretch marks. at first i thought i should be happy the meds are working but this has gotten out of hand and i am in the process of switching. i was on it for 6 months, no liver problems or anything but during my thyroid went kaput....not sure if this is linked to the somavert but fyi. let me know if anyone has questions.

Thanks for sharing your advice! It is so difficult to learn anything about this drug without your help.
